The following procedure details how you can create a backup of only your equipment definitions into an XML file. You can use this file to restore equipment to a previous state in the event of loss of data.
It is recommended you do this every time you have made significant changes to your equipment list and also prior to any Events2HVAC software updates.
- Open the Events2HVAC client.
- Select File --> Export.
- Select a location and file name to export to.
- Hit Save.
