How do I generate a new EventsHVAC license request?

Requesting a License from the E2H client

If you have already installed the E2H software on the server, you can request a license directly from the client software.

Note: you must be connected to the internet to use this feature.

Go to the Help menu | Request License...

The license request form will open.

Enter your license information based on what was proposed from your site.  For BACnet Device Interface users, it is important that you’ve selected the BACnet/IP device and a BACnet client serial number is shown.  This S/N is required to enable the BACnet drivers and must be generated from your E2H server platform.

Click send to transmit this information to Streamside Solutions.  A license file will be emailed back after it is processed.  You may optionally copy the information to the clipboard and send it via email.

Requesting a License (prior to E2H installation)

Prior to installing the E2H software for the first time, you should run the following license request application from the Events2HVAC server platform.  This application will allow the user to fill in appropriate fields.  It will also retrieve platform specific information needed to generate the license key.  The generated XML can be emailed to support@events2hvac.com so that a license key can be generated and sent back.

Note: you must be connected to the internet to use this feature since this is a click-once deployed application.

You will see a web site that contains the run link for the license request application.

Click on the RUN button to download and run the application.  The following form will be display:

Click on the CREATE button and save the XML file to your computer.  Email this file to support@events2hvac.com and we’ll send back a completed license file.
