What are the system requirements for Events2HVAC software?

Events2HVAC Server Requirements (One installation per site)

• Physical or virtual hardware, single processor (small installations), multiple processor or cores (larger installations) - 2 cores recommended.
• 8GB RAM (minimum), 20GB Hard Drive space available, core i3 processor or better (minimum)
• 32-bit or 64-bit OS
• Windows 7, Windows 8.x, Window 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019
• Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1, v4.5.2 or higher
• Microsoft Message Queuing (Included with Windows OS)
• Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Express, v2008R2 or higher
• must be running 24/7
• must have a network path to all the connected event providers and device(s) used
• each individual device interface(s) used may have additional requirements
• must be able to communicate to event provider’s database or API endpoint(s) (see event provider documentation)

Events2HVAC Client Requirements (remote client workstations - optional)

• Physical or virtual hardware, single processor
• 4GB RAM, 20GB Hard Drive space available
• 32-bit or 64-bit OS
• Windows 7, Windows 8.x, Window 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
• Microsoft .NET Framework v3.5 SP1, v4.5.2 or higher
• must have access to event provider’s database or API endpoint (see event provider documentation)
• must have access to Events2HVAC SQL database onE2Hserver (TCP 1433)
• must be able to communicate to server via TCP port 5048-5049 (adjustable)
