Error Message: Device action was not found in the database.
Problem:
When you try to add a new device action to an equipment item, you might get the error message "Device action was not found in the database." This means that the device interface in use (in memory) is different than the device as registered in the database. This will occur after an upgrade of the device interface software if additional actions were added, modified, or removed from the interface.
Solution:
- Go to Admin > Device Interface Manager
- Click on the Rediscover button.
- Close the window.
- Restart the Events2HVAC Windows service, events2HVAC_service, to restart the command queue.
